Lake House

Three distinct pods connected by glazed passages form sheltered courtyards that can be used through the seasons.

The central pod holds family living, with one wing for guests and another for the owners. Natural cladding, quirky detailing and careful orientation to sun and wind make the home robust yet playful. The NZIA jury praised its "responsive geometry and courtyards that create space for occupation at any time of day."
