Designed by Andrew Watson for his mother, this home on Christchurch's coastal edge is clad in raw Cor-Ten steel, chosen for its weathering patina and durability by the sea.
Expansive glazing frames the view while a warm interior palette tempers the bold exterior. A glazed wall stair and glazed garage lift the form above the landscape.
